ok well ive heard people say before this will not fit but noone who has said that has actually tried

S14KTS coilovers235/35/18 +35 (front)265/35/18 +35 (rear)

they fit fine on stock suspension, are coilovers going to be different?... im not going to slam it on its balls ghetto style or anything just want a subtle drop to rid my car of wheel gap

ive allready ordered the coilovers, just wondering if i should start looking for some spacers. and size of spacers

you listed tire size and wheel offset, but whats your wheel size? actually youve even got diameter...but width is the important part

just from what i would think, if it fits on stock, a coilover that has a smaller diameter than a strut/spring combo should fit fine?

Not true, especially for the front shocks. If you look in the front wheel well you can see that on the stock suspension the spring starts above the tire but with coilovers the spring base is lower and behind the wheel not above.

rears might be ok, but fronts will need a spacer, 5-10 mm or so, itll be a trial and error deal

It also depends on coilovers too. I know there's not much difference, but some are bit smaller than others. Which coilovers are you getting?

thats what i thought as well. i have hypermax's and they are clearly thinner than lowering springs

with coilovers the shock body sits right next to the tire, whereas on shocks the spring perch is above the tire, so that real thin part below the perch is whats actually next to the tire

so in fact you actually lose like 1/2 an inch with coilovers

This is what happened to me recently. I had like 5mm space between stock strut and rim which is 17x8 +38. I installed Stance coilover and guess what? I have slightly more than 10mm. I got better clearance with coilovers. I had a chance to talk to Stance the other day and they said Stance has better clearance than other coilovers.
