will my check engine light come on if a fuel injector is bad or misfiring spark?
im just wondering if a bad fuel injector will cause the check engine lights to come on or no? or a misfiring spark plug or one that is bad and not working?

A bad injector (open coil = infinite resistance) caused my CEL light to turn ON (Code 51 as I recall).
The problem (rough idle and under-powered) and CEL were intermittent for a short while, before they gradually became permanent and I replaced the injector (all of them actually).

A leaky O-ring can also throw an injector code and cause the engine to run rough and hydro lock it eventually.
