I am going to be doing an sr swap in about 2 to 3 weeks and I was wondering if I have to disconnect my alarm when I do the swap. And will work when I have the sr in? I have a viper alarm its one step down from the led screen viper alarm. So it doesn't have remote start or anything like that.

What exactly are you asking? Because from your post it sounds like your asking if you need to disconnect the power to the alarm while you're doing the swap. If so it should be common sense.

it shouldn't be a problem. you can always take it to the alarm place and have them re-wire it. thats what i did to my car and i have the pager alarm.
