Sure it can take some nitrous!!

I put a 55 dry shot from a zex kit i had layin around on my buddies escape, so he could spank my other friend in a money race (94 camaro with bolt ons)

I think the espcape got a 3.5L v6. Simple hookup, powers and grounds no relays, one hose to the FPR and a small nozzle hole in the air duct and he had an instant kick in the pants!

He put 2 bottles through the car I think, it was hilarious to see my friend BAFFLED on how a ford escape that he would walk away from normally, walked right passed him when spraying (he didnt know we put on the shot)

The race was for who owned the slowest car out of our group, and a case of beer. Was well worth the fun

Be careful though, nitrous aint safe. And most motors DONT LIKE IT

I'm sure you could fit quite a few bottles of nitrous in the back of your Pathy.

I just wouldn't hook it up to the engine. These trucks are great if you abuse them within reason. They were never meant to go fast. Add nitrous and you'll be replacing the engine before too long.
