will ka24e pistons fit in a ka24de

I heard that an 89 ka24e pistons will fit into a ka24de and raise compression is that right?

That is correct. Early SOHC pistons in a DOHC will give you ~11.6:1 compression.Later SOHC pistons in a DOHC will give you ~11.1:1 compression.

That all depends on what your looking for. If your going with a turbo, good on you, if your just trying to bump your compression just cuase---be careful with fuel and spark it will lean out!!

11:1 CR is extremely high for normal street use. The motor will experience excessive detonation on street gas. You'll have to run high octane racing fuel.

Exact same the only diff is the cutout on top which changes compression. I have a set of ka24e pistons less then 900 miles $10. I bought a dual cam with them in but don't want to run premium gas on my Daily so put the de back in. Honestly if your going all motor they are good but for a turbo they are a no no.
