No, the Ka transmission won't bolt on. unless you use a bell housing of a ca18det, some people mentioned in the past that they used a ca18ET transmission/bell housing.

i got the bellhousing out of a junkyard and matched with a ka24 transmission, works nice so far - however i highly regret saving $100 buying the auto and doing it this way. because of this you will need to source a ca flywheel and get the bellhousing, neither of which are easy jobs. also, removing the pilot bushing form the automatic ca18det to install a pilot bearing for a 5spd is not fun either

i got a auto ca swap.i used a ca bellhouseing and kae transmission.the 5th gear i believe is a little higher too.but i believe that the auto ca is a bett motor.being a auto i dont think it was beat on as much as a 5 speed.and mine was also a swap from a girls car.it had a hello kitty glovebox.and yes its in my car now.lol but thats just my .02 cents

The auto swap will be more work than a 5spd swap but still doable.

You'll need a bellhousing from a CA18ET/CA20E from an S12 out of the junkyard. You'll also have to dig up a CA18DET flywheel. I don't think you can use a flywheel from any other Nissan, unless you use an SR flywheel, SR clutch, and buy a different starter.

Good luck!

Remember that if your current chassis isn't a 5 spd you'll still have to souce the pedals, lines, ect. If it is, then getting a 5 spd swap should be a breeze.
