Will KA24DE fuel rail fit KA24E???

Basically, the fuel rail from a 1992 240sx, will it fit in a 1989240sx?

I know mine is the KA24DE, his says 2400 12 valve on the cover.

no, e is top feed, de is side feed

ok i know a de rail wont fit with the e side feed injectors but could you put a de fuelrail and injector set-up onto a single cam intake manifold?

You could, but why? Top feed injectors are cheaper and more plentiful. Are you worried that the rail is clogged?

i want to install sr injectors on my KA24E as part of my fuel system upgrade and i figured if the de rail fits on the e i could buy a aftermarket one for the de and use it with the top feed sr injectors.

why not use the 450s from the eclipse?

SR injectors are Side feed.And if the DE fuel rail fits on an E, why not just buy a stock DE fuel rail from someone?

But from what I have heard I dont think that the DE fuel rail fits on the E...I may be wrong but thats what I heard a long time ago.

Finding cheap top feed injectors isnt hard though. You can get some Rx7 injectors or DSM ones. I see em for sale all the time.

The mounting points are also different.

I found this out when I was talking to projectsilvia & asked if I could use the de top feed rail which was drilled out for a diff injector on my e. Short answer: no.

RX7 or DSM injectors, possibily w/ a little dremel if they don't fit, haha.
