It might sound like a stupid question, But will running just oil in an Oil/coolant cooled turbo work. I was thinking of running a good oil cooler and just oil lines to the turbo. How long would that last?

People do it... But I dont think its good.

If they design it to run both you could assume that just oil would not work right. It might use less oil just to lube the berrings and rely on the watter to pull the heat away.

also depends on the turbo if your running like a t25 ( what i have) you should be fine but an upgrade from that it might be a good idea to run both just cause it will see way more heat plus you'll kick your self in the *** if it craps out on you cause you decided not to hook up water lines...just my 2 cents..good luck!

Well, The reason I'm asking is I can get a few turbo's for free from the junkyard I work at. Also, do you guys know of any domestic injectors that fit the KA fuel rail?

Waterliens are SO easy to put on (splice off the throttle body lines), why would you even want to NOT do it?

It should be fine. Water-cooled turbos just have thicker bearing sections to house the water-jackets.
