I am just wondering about what can work with what... -Can a Ka24de work with a ka24e transmission? -Can a Ka24de just drop into a 240 that originally had a ka24e? -Will a short shifter designed for a ka24de work with the ka24e? -and just tell me what else can be interchanged between the two platforms...

1. I think the bolt pattern is different. So no.2. Almost. You have to move power steering lines around.3. Yes.4. 2 platforms... you mean between S13 and S14? SOHC and DOHC?

1. they swap just fine, 91+ has an extra sensor, but i havent had any problems.

2. there has been many many many write ups on this, its fairly simple, but does require a few extra parts.

3. KA24E, KA24DE, SR20DET, all the same shifter.

4. other than the engine, the cars are basically the same, what else would you want to swap?
