I plan on rebilding my ka24de soon and would like to know if anyone can tell me if it will start up with the stock ecu or will i need to do an upgrade or tune the stock ecu. I will be puting new cp pistons, jwt cams, egale rods, gasets seals guides and so on. Now for the specs i will be keeping the ka n/a with the stock 9:0:1 ratio along with stock fuel injetors. so if anyone has done this befor i would like to know if it will start and run on the stock ecu or will i need to tune it or get a new ecu if the rebild is done right. thanks any info will help

It shoudl start and run with the stock ecu, but a tune will definetely work a lot better with those cams. What plans do you have for the engine? I'm wondering because you say but you are keeping the stock compresiong ratio and you could bump it up to aroung 10:1 for better performance.

Glad I could help and it sounds like you have a pretty good plan for your car good luck with it.
