I plan on doing the swap this weekend and wont have my exhaust in until middle of next week. Will it hurt to drive my car with the stock piping or is it not recommend? Thanks

it wont hurt it at all. remember, the stock 180sx/silvia that your engine came in had basically the same exhaust as your stock one. i wouldnt worry about it too much. it'll help later on to upgrade but it wont hurt you now.

180sx used bigger piping stock (slightly) and don't turn the boost up on stock piping... thats asking for boost spikes;)
