after some motivation with my dremel, prybar, and hammer, i think i've made enough room to fit 34s on my AC lift.

i've ordered a 285/75-16 Interco SSR which measures 33.9in. we shall see!

here's a shot with 33s, which have worn down to 32in actual, in this pic.

i dremel'd the rear bumper and can move the front bumper forward on its mounts by about 1in, if i need to. at the bottom of the front doors, i folded the fenders a bit more, and i don't think i'll have issues at the bottom of the rear doors.

Let me know how it goes, have you thught about putting in the SFD? I want to put 34's but was going to after I put in the SFD... could you take some pics of your fenders and how you "rolled" them?

i'm not that interested in a SFD. definitely not for the price that most builders (or local shops) are asking for them. who is making your SFD?

this is the bottom of the front doors.

i'll get pics tomorrow of where/how i dremel'd the rear bumper.

That's going to be super tight. What about the front wheels at full lock? Did you do any front wheel well trimming?

Based on the pics that looks like it is going to be a tight fit. Looking forward to pics and looks like you could still bend or cut a little more if needed.

the sliders are the Super Sliders from Rocky Road.

the only trimming on the front wheel well was the rolled fender at the bottom of the front doors. i've been wheeling several times since fitting the 33s and there's absolutely no rubbing, even at full lock.

there shouldn't be any strut clearance issues. i have 1.5in wheel spacers.

you can see here where i dremel'd away the leading edge of the rear bumper. i removed about 1in of material.

you still have your fender flares. they overlap the wheel well by nearly 2in in the back. if you really want to make room for big tires, you need to remove the flares.

never said they weren't. now go get your tape and see if they're still 32s.

mine are bald 33s which now measure out to 32in. that, and i'm not running fender flares so it makes the tire look smaller due to the extra clearance.

read it and weep

alex, lookin forward to pics! Nice find. I like how the valve stems are protected inside the wheel instead of on the lip. Never heard anything bad about those BFG's aside from the price when purchasing new. Older Mud-Terrains were not very good on pavement, new KM2's are supposed to be decent. I would have purchsed them when I went up to 33's on my Explorer but they were way too pricey for me.

nice catch on the valve stem! i noticed that also, and that alone makes this set of wheels worth the $50 i paid for them. the nissan steelies i use are basically a recessed flat face with the valve stem sticking out precariously, easily susceptible to trail damage.

i've never broken off a valve stem, but i've seen it and am glad that these toyota wheels address that issue - intentional or not.

It'll fit, but it all depends on how much cutting you want to do. I can fit 33x12.5 on a 15x10 rim with the AC lift & miner trim & I know I can fit 34's with the cutting I want to do

i can fit 34s as it sits right now.

anyway, the minivan is getting SAS'd so it's a moot point. swapping out the rear axle as well.

speaking of pussing out, didn't you need to take your pathy to a shop because you couldn't loosen the lower strut bolts? and what happened the last two times we went to Barnwell, and you said you were gonna meet us up? oh ya, you pussed out.

yes, i am still IFS. i'm just waiting for a few more parts before i can finally get started. i have neither the skills nor the equipment to weld/fabricate all the custom parts needed to install new axles front/rear.

i've seen the caliber of the work your friend does in making front bumpers; i'm glad he is not my fabricator. i don't want my s*** getting ripped off in a small recovery.
