I have the 3.5SE Coupe "Premium" which has 9-Speakers Bose.

Will I lose both if I upgrade the Deck? I'm thinking of getting the new Kenwood DNX-6980 when it comes out.

I always upgrade the Audio in the past but with this set up, I'm pretty happy with it that I put it off until now because I want a GPS/Video deck. The difference is there that I can't stand my family/friends typical 4-speakers. LOL

I'll look a little closer when I get a free second, but I am almost certain that all of the speakers will continue to function. The audio might sound a bit different, as the Bose system is tuned as a whole. Also, you wont be able to turn the Kenwood deck up very loud, as the head unit has a built in amp and there is a separate Bose amp in the trunk.

You will definitely lose the bluetooth hands free setup, unless the aftermarket headunit has that capability. If it does, you will likely need to install your own microphone, and the steering wheel buttons for the phone will NOT work.
