Will HID Headlights from 2001-2003 qx4 fit on a 99'?

I can get a set of hid's from a newer qx4 for a decent price and I was told that all I will need to get them to fit is buy the grill from the newer qx4's....does anyone have experience with this?

haven't found any for a good price, but I'm an HID fan -- I'd prefer to keep my lower bumper and yellow fogs along with the 01+ ..

Yeah, anyone know what's needed?
