Only a bit overkill?

Seriously, people seem to forget: "It is not brakes that stop a car ... it is the tire to road contact that stops a car"!

If your tires are poor and slide easily, then the best brakes in the world will not stop you cleanly.

Ask your self this: If your ABS is kicking in all the time, then are you really braking well?

in all honestly otto, fit or not, ability to custom fab or not, i think it's a lil to much. you can find a sweet big brake kit that you know fits and is really really good and save some money too, those look expensive.

Tires are the only part of your car that touches the tarmac.

if your serious about them..

17's should clear.. but its not the wheel diameter you should worry about, its the spoke design and disc shape you need to worry about.
