Will going from a 1.5mm metal headgasket to a 1.1 make a big difference in comp?

Going to be going with a FPBig28 for my SR and I'm wondering if I should ditch the 1.5mm metal headgasket and get a 1.1 since I'm not running a huge turbo? Will it raise compression significantly?

i guess i should add that i think 8.5to1 is plenty low. i would never ever go lower than stock compression on a sr20det. i know the gtir has lower compression but i would not want that personally. i intend to have 9.0to1 when my motor is built. i also dont like thick head gaskets. personally i say get a good metal gasket as thin as you can get and set your comp the right way with pistons.
