Hey Guys! As the title states, I am looking at a set of 2004 Infiniti G35 7 spoke rims. They are 18 x 8 and have a 30 offset. Has anyone tried fitting these rims onto a Rogue? I thought I read a post about someone trying to mount them, but had to cut the axel(?) because the caps wouldn't fit. Is it desirable to have a 30 offset? Thanks for your replies.

The offset will make little difference, it's all about the wheel design itself. The Rogue and many other FWD Nissan's seem to have a long spindle nut/bolt that makes fitting wheels a chore. The only way to know for sure is to try a test fit.

As for offset, +30 isn't to far from stock. It will push the wheels out a bit which may give a more 'flush' look. Straying too far from factory offsets may affect handling and wheel bearing life. I cannot say whether +30 wheels will make this worse.

I DO NOT recommend cutting the spindle nut. By cutting it back, you risk loosing a wheel while driving!

1) You will remove the safety pin that prevents the wheel bearing retaining nut from loosening and falling off. 2) Excessive heat created during cutting may harden the steel spindle bolt making it brittle.

BTW, the thread you are looking for was titled "Unofficial Venom Rogue Pictures":

Thanks Philipa, you saved me a lot of grief. I was kinda liking that concave shape, too bad it makes it not fit our spindle.
