Will EXhAust siliencer make a differnce

i plan to get the blitz nur spec racing to my NA 240sx

by adding the silencer will i increase the back flow and not losstorque?

will that couter act the 3 inch piping?

my guess is that it wouldnt do much, maybe make it a little less loud. i think you will still lose alot of back pressure.

yea but a 3 inch exhaust on a na is super overkill. youll actually lose performance.

I have the Apexi N1 Single and a HS header. The car is pretty loud without the silencer. It's just right with the silencer installed, nice and deep with VERY minimal "raspyness". I think it gives the car more low end when I use the silencer. Just an FYI: The further away a restriction in the exhuat system is from the engine, the less effect it has, so, don't let that small outlet in the silencer scare you. There is alot of volume in the exhaust system between that silencer and the engine.
