First of all, I would remove the Bose sub if you are not using it (which you shouldn't be if you have 2 12" subs, get that P.O.S. out of there). That will allow more sound to pass through from the trunk to the cabin. Secondly, Dynamat alone will not fix the rattling. I used dynamat to dampen all of the components on top of steel parcel shelf, but the carpeted panel vibrates up and down on its own. I used some pieces of plastic from my work to jam them between the rear window and the carpeted panel. They were like 3/4" square by 2" long. I used 4 of them and like I said, wedge them between the panel and the base of the rear window. That's how I did it. At the time I figured it was temporary, but after Dynamating I had to put them back in. The plastic pieces make the biggest difference. Dynamating is expensive and labor intensive. I bought Dynamat because I needed it that day. Give yourself a few days to get it ordered through the internet and buy some of the less expensive alternatives...
