if you guys help me with these 2 questions.... so PLEASE HELP

I'm confused as to which hoses go where between the IAC valve and the air regulator. From reading the FSM I am confused but under the impression that the two valves connect together with one hose and then both connect to the charge pipe after the intercooler but before the Throttle body? but if Im all wrong please tell me. So... which option?

Option 1

Option 2

AND QUESTION NUMBER 2

When using the Q45 TB does this tab for the idle control screw matter ? I was under the impression that it can be removed since the Idle on the rb25 is controlled by the IAC valve? so can it be removed?

neither of your drawings are correct.you need to have a hose going into the iac from before the tb, then on the tee going to the right into the aac valve then from the aac to the intake plenum somewhere.as for that little screw, unless you dont want your car to idle then sure take it out, else dont touch.

Carl H ! Please help me with completely understanding. So I DO need that tab on the Throttle body to control the idle? I've seen them removed before I thought? Since the idle is controlled by the IAC screw? just trying to clarify. If you look on this write up it looks like this piece was removed http://www.livesockets.com/quo...Body And for the IAC and the AAC I understand except , does it matter what end of the air regulator goes to the IAC and which goes to the plenum? as in the black or grey end ?

Thanks for the help guys! I'll ne back on with in the hour to check for the answers so please post!

that tab is the throttle stop for the TPS, I believe. the TPS is a potentiometer, and at the closed position, it sends out a specific voltage to the computer, so if you hack it off, it will always be a little out of whack. not saying it wont work, but it might screw things up a bit.

SHE RUNS ! I'll post a video in its own thread here in a min but SHE RUNS!! lol 8 months of waiting and she runs. I didn't cut the tab off i ended up grinding it down but still letting it hit the screw. SO MY WIRING GUIDE IS CORRECT.
