the sohc transmission is mission a plug that the dohc one has. I dont know if that matters.

I've been all over the forum too, and in fact I still am that's how I got here! I think this might be a first...How 'bout a '95 s14 A/T into a '93 s13??Tran. is in, they're physically the same.Electronics are different. So far,Inhibitor switches are diff.A/T Control Units "Tran.Brain" are diff. I ran a self-diag. on the auto brain...Nothin. it blinks all is good. One important detail I missed on install...aligning torque conv. notches w/ tran. notches for flow of fluid between units. I feel as though this is my crucial mistake...I guess we'll find out when I tear this ***** back apart AAARGH!

I believe the bell housings are different, but the trans. are the same.
