will an s14 KA24 swap into an s13?

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

Would that be a straight up swap, or is there any additional work that I should be aware of?

Depends. Do u currently have ka24e or a ka24de? do you want to go obdII or keep obdI? We need more details. There is also a blinking 'SEARCH the site for answers' link on top.

I put a 97' S14 KADE in to my 91 S13. I had to use the lower intake off of my old engine but the rest was pretty simple. But mine was a KADE to start with. Makes a huge difference.

your damn right its a lot different i am currently swaping a 98 kade into a 90 s13 chassie i had to use a 91-94 harness and ecu, gauge cluster,dizzy,maf, and lower intake manny. i reused my kae transmission ive heard rumors about it having shorter gears but its still a rumor hope this helps

thanks i forgot that but mine just came with the top half of the exhast so i just got an ebay header

dont foget TB and TPS MT sensor (assuming ur MT) Temp Sensor...EGR pipe (Assuming ur a CA occupant)

ok, so i am 75% on getting a 1991 s13...my buddy has the motor/transmission from his s14.

so i would be swapping an auto transmission from a k24e with a 5spd from a k24de..will that work? Thanks!

nice..im workin the same swapp atm..havin an issue with the harness thou..can ya snap a few pics of the placments for me please and email em liquid_cool36@yahoo..

i have a 98 in my 92 i used the 98 motor 92 dizzy 92 harness 92 ecu and 92 header. the only thing i really touched on the motor was the dizzy, i didnt swithc tps intake mani or nothing

What exactly did you do to get this working? I have a 95 motor and transmission in my 92' and would like to get it running ASAP. Any information you can provide me would be much appreciated...

I just did the opposite swap, s13 into s14 , we used the s14 harness , s14 dizzy, and s14 maf, everything else we didn't touch. including the header,tps, intake mani...all that stayed
