There is a lot more to a GT-R than a wiring harness. Your lack of knowledge on this throws up a red flag that says "proceed no further". If you want an R get an R because you will be doing so much heavy work trying to convert a non-R to one you will wish you hadn't tried.

Unless of course you just wanted an RWD RB26DETT powered 25GT-t? Then it's not as much work.

I agree with TMS on the issue of making a RWD Skyline into an AWD Skyline. To much work when you can just buy an R. Granted, money will be a key issue, but you could probably flip the 34 N/A for some cash towards the R.

Hey thanks for the replies.

Hey TMS my "lack" of knowledge is why I'm asking here in the first place. That's what people do when they don't know something, they either ask someone who does, or look into it themselves. And If I could get a GT-R here in the states at a price I could afford then I would, but unfortunetly that isnt an option so i figured I'd take the next best step in converting it.

C33LaurelRacer- My plans intially were to keep it RWD with the RB26 but i figured I'd ask since this clip came up for sale. Over here its rare to find an R34 clip or an RB26 out of a 34...most of them are from 32's. Is there any significant difference in the wiring harness going into the dash or in general if I was to use an Rb26 from a 32?
