Will a VLSD or A LSD fit on a automotic transmission or is this part only for manual transmission's?

Itll fit but you might have driveshaft clearance issues. Manual non abs guys sometimes have issues with their drive shafts being to long as the abs / r200v equipped cars drive shafts where shorter. Since the auto shafts longer still, it may be an issue, or if you have enough play, it may not...

i have vlsd n my 95 auto with abs from the factory. so u can have it but like mentioned above u might need a different driveshaft. ill sell u mine cheap if u want it.

I think might try to locate a manual transmission and add a LSD? Does anyone know where I can find a manual transmission for a reasonable price.

I think you might be confused...

the VLSD is not part of or related to the transmission... it is the DIFFERENTIAL. You can have either manual or auto and still have the VLSD. The only problem you will have with driveshaft lengths is if one car (the donor or yours) has ABS and the other doesn't. The transmission will not affect the swap at all.

maineimport is absolutly correctthe only drive train that the differential is part of the transmition is FWD cars because they have transaxles not a seperate transmition and axle
