so i found a VAFC that i can buy localy but will it work for a non vtec engine? i just need to know before i buy it. thanks guys

I dont think hondas use MAF's. Therefore a vafc would not work on a maf engine.

But I could be wrong. Check the vafc manual.

Well a select few hondas do run mafs, but not on a widescale. Im wondering what the heck the point of the VAFC would be other than to mess with Vtec stuff. Maybe it alters the Map sensor data?

what VAFC are you talking about? If you're talking about the NEO, then yes, my buddy runs it on his KA-t... its retarded without a wideband tho..

I think a VAFC is the same as a SAFC but with added VTEC control?

I was fiddling with my buddy's and you could add/subtract fuel as well as control the VTEC.. But maybe it was something else I was messing up.. lol
