will a stock exhaust work with an sr20 swap?

I am doing the sr20 swap and i have spent all of my money on the swap and i am broke....i really wanted to put an aftermarket exhaust on the car but i cant afford it right now....would it be ok to use the stock exhaust or should i find a way to get an aftermarket one....and if so would you recommend a turbo back exhaust or just a catback, and how big of a difference is it between the stock, turbo back, and cat back exhaust?

I believe the stock KA exhaust will work on the SR. However it would be best to upgrade to aftermarket, obviously.

the stock will work with the sr. i don't think there's an aftermarket turbo back exhaust system for the 240sx because i have only seen cat back exhaust.

thats what a downpipe is for...right? and about the downpipe, would it go all the way down and take the place of the first cat or just too it?

depends what type of downpipe it is..you can buy one that eliminates the cat

okay..back on topic..you cna use the factory exhaust system...lotsa backpressure..which isnt very good for turbo..but should be same as japanese OEM spec silvia

ebay has some cheap N1 catbacks..fitment is the luck of the draw..[i got perfect fitment..but my friend's didnt]got mines for 200 shipped..just gotta be patient and look for good deals
