Howdy,

Wondering if a Snow Blower will fit in the cargo area of our trucks?

I'm thinking about buying a used Ariens 824, or 824ST.

Has anyone hauled there snowblowers around in a pathfinder?

Thanks!

I haven't hauled around a snow blower but I have hauled around a commercial grade pressure washer (13HP, 3600psi, 4GPM, 175 pounds) which is roughly the same size.

The width or length is not a concern at all. But the height might be.

If the handle and blower thing is detachable, it should be fine.

Lifting it up won't be fun though.

Yeah, I'm wondering about the height too.

I'd prefer driving it up a ramp (?2x6's) rather than lifting it. Ariens weigh ?150ish lbs I think.

I just bought a used snapper 9 horse power & it fit great. An older 9265.

As you suggested Chris, the chute did have to come off.

The ends of the handles were also sticking out the gate window. I propped the gate glass with a big semi-soft foam block.

The seller also sold a set of tri-fold steal ramps. The snowblower drove rite up & into the cargo area.

Perfect.
