Will a s14 we red ecu work on a s13 sr20 blacktop with e5 ecu?

I was told that the s14 we red ecu code # 23710-69510 will work on a s13 sr20 blacktop that uses an e5 ecu. Is this possible and what would you have to do to get it to work if it's possible.
