Will a QR25de go into a 96 200sx?

Anybody know if a 2002-2006 sentra spec v motor and transmission will bolt into a 96 200sx?

Will it just bolt in? I highly doubt it. However the B15 and B16 platforms both rocked sr20's so they share similar under the qualities. Physically will it fit, yes. New motor mounts from the donor spec V and some test fitting and it should work. This is quite a project the guys to talk to about it are on theVboard, they are putting maxima 3.5l in b15's so as far as i know they would be the experts and i would contact them. its a wonderful idea and i think its totally worth trying cause seriously a qr25 powered b14 would freaking rock, you have my blessing and anything else i can contribute.

It should fit relatively easily. You'll need a bunch of donor parts from a dead SE-R/Spec V.

Off the top of my head I know you'd need the front/rear motor mount crossmember off the Spec, the wiring harness and ECU, and the axles.

Interesting swap idea.

It was done once, a QR in a B14. Imo, if the B14 is equipped at first with the SR20DE, better get a SR20DET from a GTi-R or a Bluebird, or a SR20VE,SR16VE N1 if you're lucky,than do the QR swap. Less troubles too.

heh yeah most people will tell you for what it costs you would be better off doing a SR20DET swap.

Well thanks for the inputs fellas- figured it would be pretty farfetched. Specially considering the whole NATs secuity that you would have to deal with. I guess a full standalone would be the best way to bypass all that mess? As of now Im still trying to get the Spec V donor, so first things first.
