Will a Pathy Cluster fit in a QX4?

So as some of you know you can't change out the main illumination lamps in the 01+ QX4 cluster with LED's because it's back-lit by a thin fluorescent tube. So I would love to be able to swap out the cluster with one from a pathy.

1. Is this possible? 2. Are there any repercussions with changing out a cluster with different mileage?3. What is the difference between the 01, 02, 03, 04?

I like the electroluminescent gauges in the QX4. They're super bright and all of the gauge colors are really vivid. I would trade you my gauge cluster in a heartbeat, but I'm not sure if your cluster has a 4x4 indicator (not the LCD 4x4 screen, just the little green light in the bottom right-hand corner).

I'm sure it's possible to swap them since they all use the same wiring schematic and such. Of course, you would only want to replace yours with a cluster without the LCD 4x4 screen. The clusters don't store the mileage or any data for that matter, so the mileage of your vehicle will remain the same with a different cluster.I don't think there are really any differences between the 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 clusters; the platinum edition Pathfinder is the only one that came with the QX4-style electroluminescent gauges (I think).

Yeah I like the way it looks but I really want Blue gages to match everything else. My cluster has the 4x4 socket, it's just missing the lamp. I wonder if the block connectors are the same.

well if you and obrien cant get your clusters to work, let me know.. I have a 2003 LE cluster that Im pulling out of mine to put in a 2004 LE one.
