I have old winter tires from a dodge caravan that are a little bigger than my stock tires P185/65 15. The winter tires are P215/65 15. I would like to use them this winter rather than buying new ones if they will fit.

Has anyone successfully put this bigger size tire on without any issues (rubbing etc)

If someone can answer this or direct me to a post that answers it I would appreciate it.

I have 215/45/17 on my versa right now, no rubbing issues but I also have aftermarket wheels that are wider than the stock versa wheels so I'm not sure if the stockies can handle that rubber...

Too wide on the stock wheels, wouldn't do it.

You might wanna go with 215/ 60/15I had winter tires 215/60/15 on stock alloy rims. No issues.

The stock wheels are rather narrow at 5.5". I've got a set of 205/70/15s on my hatch and when new they just scuffed some places in the fender well. I can tell you not all brands of tires are the same size. The Toyo Eclipse (exclusively from Les Schwab) 205s I have are quite narrow in the tread area compared to most other brands.
