I'm sure it would.. but how can that be too much money? If you have enough money for a 350whp KA then it shouldn't be that hard to spend a little extra.

^ yeah, we talked about that recently. Its somewhere close to 350whp.

Personally, I'd spend the extra $60-70 if you have a turbo capable of 350whp or higher. I'd only run the N60 with a T3 or smaller turbo capable of 250whp (stock MAFs limit) up to 350whp.

Though the N60 and N62 are easily swap-able. Theyre are physically the same size and I beleive the wiring is identical.

Can the n62 handle more power? I'm planing on uping my boost until I get in the 12s. I'm using a T3 right now but would like a T4 compressor to bolt on it. Do u know where to buy the parts to do that?

2nd year in auto tech so my funds are a little low right now. Got 2.5gs into the engine w/no labor (fast car for the money) bought my turbo, fmu, tial 38mm gate and ic for 350$ -good deal-

Do u know of a good site that talks about hacking a stock mafs? That tells u what mafs to set the ecu to.

I love costom jobs.

I was thinking seems hot wire mafs use 0-5v, Do the other mafs like the n60 & n62 just have a larger I.D. So can I match the I.D. of my s-13 mafs to that of a n62 and set my e-manage to the n62 and call it good?

Emanage doesn't have the VQ table for the N60 MAF, does it?

How hard is it to just use a map sensor and forget the mafs?

Depends on how hard it is for you to buy and tune a standalone.

I'm trying to let go of an N60, good condition with an 8 inch harness.

There it is on craigslist, price is negotiable, i'm not sure what shipping would cost.

On Emanage it is easy, it just uses the MAF until you hit boost, then it uses the map. You can make it happen for 20 bux.

I would suggest using the hot-wire setup. It can be tuned with an old SAFC from Apex'i, it just adjusts the voltage output to the ECU. It will of course require some tuning to work perfectly with your car, but we're talking about increasing the area of your MAF sensor considerably.

Since you already have emanage, I would just go the map route. If you check the Yahoo! group, there is a write-up on how to do it. I paid 10 bux for the map, and about 10 bux to get the stuff to wire it in. I will use it for timing control and logging. So this is a cheaper (and more expandable option) than SAFC+BTM.
