will a auto ka24e speed sensor work in a redtop sr20det 5 speed transmission plz help!!

I used my manual transmission ka24e speed sensor.

Don't know if theres a difference in the auto and manual

no! ka24de speed sensors work for sr transmission's, along with a ka24de cluster.

My manual ka24e speed sensor works just fine?My tach never worked, but that's because I had a ka24e cluster in and I don't think it's related to the ka24e speed sensor

yeah i was told the tach had to be changed in the ka24e cluster but the speedo will work but i got a 180sx tach goes to 9000 rpm and it will work i was told but im ordering a ls automotive 180mph speedo and the guy said the ka24e will work with it

i used a speed sensor off a dohc and it works great. i tried my sohc one first and nothing. idk..

yeah i think im going to order a new dohc one. but i need the find a trans harness mines shot.

Is there any difference between the kae and kade transmissions? I don't think there is so there shouldn't be any problems using a kae on on a sr transmission.I have been for the last 6 or 7 months with no issues.Just try it before you go ordering one you don't need
