I just bought a car and it has a Q45 MAF on it currently and the ecu isn't programed for it. I have a KA24E MAF off a SOHC. Will that work on a S14 SR?

No it doesn't work but it will idle. I guess its better than the Q45 maf that was on it with the ecu untuned.

s14 and s15 mafs are the same with different connectors on them, so for the s14 sr20det youll have to have one of them, i used a s15 maf and put the connector from my ka on the harness and it worked fine
