Hi there,

I am thinking of installing a 10w6v2 d4 sub in one of the rear seat side panels. I got one from a friend and wonder if this would work in this location?

Just in case you are wondering, I am thinking of doing it this way:http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/526842/8

JL recommends about 8" of depth for this... wondering if there is enough room back there.

thanks

Scott Buwalda did this in a 95, but I'm pretty sure the 10w6v2 is gonna be too deep/too big for that on the S13. To do this is going to require some fancy fiberglass work and a sub designed to work in a small/tight enclosure.

First thing is to try and measure the depth to see if it's even possible to mount the sub, then figure out a way to make a box/enclosure it will fit in.

If you're asking for my "best guess" is there's insufficient mounting depth.

I had a funny feeling that might be the case... I might have to mount it in the trunk if it won't fit.

It's a lovely unit tho and I think it's all I would need sub wise if I can make it fit.

cheers
