OK my buddy has an 89 240 that he is trying to make into a reliable daily driver. the block is blown and he cant seem to find the stock block for it, he's at the pick ur part right now but he has only found twim cam k-series engine and the only single cam he found was in a sentra i think. will that black swap over to his 240? will the head and trans bolt right on or will he have to modify some stuff on it? Any help is well appreciated.... THNX

The blocks are different, skip anything FWD.

He should buy the twin-cam RWD engine from a 91+ 240sx, we can help him swap it in (it's easy to convert).

ka24de block is gonna be cheaper then a k-swap. That and it drops right in.$300~$500 ka24de vs FWD honda engine

I think he might be talking about FWD k-series NISSAN motors, as in an altima ka24 etc?
