My battery is about 4 years old and decided not to start today. I'm thinking it's just time for a new one. I have a custom ECU flash done by a pro tuner. When I change out the battery will it erase the custom flash? I can't imagine it would since the original OEM flash is removed and the custom one written in it's place, but I wanted to check with the experts.

Also, will the ECU reset so it has to learn my driving style again?

Thanks!

it should be fine, the memory is non-volatile.

Thanks Joe. The new battery is in and it didn't even erase any settings, radio presets, seat memory, clock, etc... they are are still where they should be. They sure have improved things since the last time I had to change a battery in a car.
