Will a CA18det clutch fit a KA24de?

So my CA is out of commision at the moment, but I want to use the clutch on my KA24de. Reason being is that its a 3 puck copper cusco clutch. My only concern is whether it will actually fit. I've read a lot of posts on the internet where people are using ka clutches on their CAs after removing the dowell pin. I just want to know if anyone knows if it will work vice versa? Thanks!

If the KA clutch works on the CA, I can't see why it wouldn't work in opposite.

Yes it will fit. You have to drill a few holes thought so they align with the flywheel.

unless your KA is a bad-mother-f***er..why waste the Cusco clutch on it? just get a replacement disc from auto parts store for $10 and throw it in. Then, proceed to drive until the CA is back on the road.

Yes it will fit, but you'll have to drill holes for the dowel pins.

Why not do as sjbsuperman1425 said and just get a new disk and re-use the old pressure plate on the KA clutch.

Hmm, I appreciate the insight! Perhaps I will just get an OE clutch for the KA. Its definitely not going to need the cusco now that I think about it.. Thanks!

its easier finding KA stuff than any other motor...for cheap even...
