Will a 97 Q45 SRS Airbag Module work in a 98?

I need to get a different airbag module to clear out my flashing airbag light. I already tried the traditional method involving the driver door pillar switch, etc with no success. Seems they PO never reset the module after the car was involved in a front end accident that deployed the passenger front airbag and just pulled the airbag light bulb out of the cluster and left it dangling. I have a chance to purchase a perfectly fine module from a 97 Q45 and was about to send the money when it dawned on me that the 97 and 98 models are different. My 98 came with side airbags while the 97 did not. Does anyone know for sure whether I can install the module from the 97 and have it work properly in my 98? I want to not only clear the flashing airbag light, but have all my airbags function properly in th event of a crash.

Please let me know assp since the seller is patiently waiting word from me.

Check the part numbers with the dealer. I would help you out but my computer is giving me problems.

And sorry i never got back to you about your parts. I have been realy busy and focused on a more serious problem that is now fixed.
