will a 97 ka24de go into a 93 s13 with no problems?

okay i have a 93 240sx coupe, im looking to purchase a new KA for it and i found one from a 97 ...it is also automatic.....i am wondering if i can just bolt up my 5 speed to it and use my same ecu and harness with out running into any major problems...if ya'll could give me some input i'd really appreciate it...also if anyone has a KA they are looking to sell email me at [email protected]

I just got done doing the exact same thing well almost I'm waiting on a clutch master cyl. to start it but the transmission went on fine just put the right pilot bearing in. if your using a 5 speed ecu on a 5speed transmission and harness it should work I'll let u know wat happens tomorrow.

I have a 91 240sx and replaced the motor and assumed it was for a s13. I have been having idle issues. Just found out today that the motor was from an s14 bc the valve cover gasket is different. Had already installed a new distibutor for an s13. If u get any information about maybe having to change out the ecu or disributor please let me know.
