will a '97 KA water pump fit an s13/s14 motor

As the subject says will it fit. The reason I'm asking is because the previous owner of the car ordered one before he sold it and he ended up mailing it to me recently. I just got the car back from the nissan dealership in town and they said I am leaking coolant and it may be due to the water pump. It doesn't leek that bad and I do plan on swapping in an SR20 once I save up for the engine and paint. Sorry for the rant, but I would like to save it for the SR20 if it will fit. I won't be driving the car this winter so if it fits then I will save it.

No, it won't fit the SR, put it on your KA now. "Doesn't leak that bad" is absolutely unacceptable for a cooling issue, doesn't leak bad now, tomorrow it busts wide open and you find yourself overheating like a mofo. Replace it.

Exactly like trpower7 said. Was helping a mechanic friend of mine with some work since he needed to get done last night. I actually pulled a head off a V6 that had a water pump with a leak. Coolant begin to get in the cylinder. Hoping (operative word) it's just the headgasket. Took it off cleaned her up a bit and bam 2 cracks in the head. Get that taken care of ASAP. It doesnt take much when it comes to heat.
