yes it will. i just put an automatic trans from a 98 240sx into my 93.

why did u have to replace transmission, I have a problem with my 95 automatic, it started to grind all of the sudden. But it shifts though all the gears. Does urs have this problem. thanksmartin

Ok, my 240sx is a 1993, I was driving about a month ago and as i accelerated the rpm's spiked and I had no fwd momentum. When I started it I heard a whine that I couldn't locate, then the transmission started to slip. I changed the fluids and it didn't help then finally it just stopped moving. One of the mechanics at the local dealer said the whining I heard may have been from the transmission fluid pump going bad. I'm not sure some one even said that my converter had gone bad. I think I'll just change the transmission with one I can get from around here.
