will a 95' OBD1 Ecu work in a 91 240?

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

Depends.. are both automatic or both manual? I think the rule is you can use an auto ecu on a manual.. but not a manual ecu on an automatic.

can anyone verify the truthfulness of this statement? i have a manuel obdi 95 ecu, but i never tried to use it on my 93

DeviousKA once said that the auto s13 ecu was slightly leaner in the 2k-3k range, than the s13 manuel ecu.

However, this is about s13 ecus, obviously. Now i known ive heard that the s14 ecu tune is a little more aggressive than the s13, but the only person who i would trust to verify this is DeviousKA.

I think Devious will find his way to this thread eventualy and all can be answered. Plus devious, if you read this, i still have that 95 obdi ecu for free if you want it.

no, the MAFS on the S14(even obd1 s14) is not the same as the S13, i don't believe those give the same readings.

or maybe, but i think there is some rewiring.

oh and what i read about the ecu was that the S14 ecu was better tuned to compensate for the smaller duration cams.
