You want that chrome trim around them and the trunk, well I think so but with some modification. I think it would be easier to just get some of that chrome trim at pep boys and just do it your self.

90-93 and 94-96 are different shaped tail light assemblies and are not interchangeable.

From the computer they might look like the same size maybe even in person, But once you measure them or try to install them you will see that they don't fit in EASILY or with out modifications to the car.

This is similar to when i had my first Q45 and I asked if the J30 headlights will fit on it and the answer was NO.

I think they will fit, but they are sloped out at the bottom a little more to match up with the 94-96 style bumper. If you don't mind that, you would want to be sure to get the trunk lid finisher to match as well...

The 94-96 tails (chrome outer edge) are about 1/2" taller along the inboard (narrowest) lens vertical edge and 1/2" taller at the widest vertical lens face. They are the same width, about 11". Take a close look at the pic and you can see the differences. They may work but you're going to have some odd fitment.

It doesn't look like it'll fit without extra effort. Go with the chrome trim from Pep Boys. I bought it and did all four doors to replace the black trim that my Q came with. It looks pretty nice, but I'm thinking of getting rid of it and trying the plain look.

I've only got the one from a 94 so no I haven't. If I had a pair I might have tried the swap becase they do look better IMHO.

Well the question you want to ask your self is: Is this all worth it? I would rather have the 94 Q45 chrome trim all on my car but that's a lot of work and nearly impossible.

When you modify and add those tail lights you either have to get the 2 rear quarters and maybe bumper from a 1994 Q45 for those lights or just cut into your car a little.

But I Would work on the interior and try and make that as much a 94 as you can by adding tweeters and the auto dimming rear view mirror like I am. I will post my results for all of you to see soon.

But the easiest way but not as factory looking would be to go down to pep boys down to there sticker and rice section and get some of that chrome trim and add it around the bumper and then cut it where the trunk opens.

It looks like a Chrysler LeBaron with that hacked-on grille.

Here is jefftrexler's original taillight swap post.

Unfortunately, the pictures' links are dead.

He lost his car when the timing chain guides failed, then a "friend" who was a "mechanic" fubared it.
