I'm thinkin you just put it in like anyother motor, and hook up the connectors, some of the connectors might be different so you might have to switch them between the motors

First of all KA24DET was never produced, T is added for turbo denotation.

And to answer your question,

Yes a S13 Ka24DE will work in S14. But you have to use all the "electronics" for S14 with the S13 motor (I mean from A to Z). I'm not going to list these things because their obvious, if you know what your doing.

To answer your title, no the 92 ka24det will not fit INSIDE another ka24det...

I would have to say, after this thread of yours, i dont believe you own either.

Look in the bay of both (if you own either), and you tell me if they will "work".

im currently in the same situation. I already have the engine and from what I can tell, all you need to switch is the distributor because the 95 ka has an internal ignitor coil within the distributor and the old one has an external coil. I am not completely sure on this info, but from what I can tell, that is really all you need.

I was also told that you need to switch out the throttle bodies, but I dont know about that. they look the same to me.

Xj220gt-> at least you read up on both engines, and have some kind of knowledge of the difference between both.

Things like distributor and MAF would fall under electronic equipment. I'm not sure think the only difference between older KA24DE and S14 KA24DE, is that S13's had secondary butterfly's vacuum operated. But I might be wrong, this might only apply to KA24E's. Since I dont have a KA anymore, this is just from my memory. I dont know about throttle bodies, but TPS I wouldn't be surprised if their different.

And since KA24E cylinder head fits KA24DE and wise versa, than what's wrong with swapping DOHC for DOHC, it's not rocket science. Guess the red big SEARCH button is a total FAIL

Just keep replacing stuff till it starts on its run...No reason to look in the thousands of pages of threads about this topic already. Search man, there is alot of info to read and figure out on your own here, without making another thread about swapping s13 motors for s14's or vice versa. Stop posting until you read a some other threads, do some searching, figure it out a little on your own and then come on here and let us know how it worked out and which thread was helpful...here, you'll keep getting bs answers because we have already answered that question at least 5 times already. Piss off.

Some shops might call them muffler bearings. Dont confuse the two.
