Im looking into a 91 240sx se fastback and the guy says it wont start because of the bad injector. Also there is a clutch fluid (brake fluid) leak and say i would have to fill it up every week.

1. Is this a good buy if it has these two problems and only 70,000 miles for 1100$??

2. Will a 240sx start with a bad injector?

Thanks

Mine started just fine with one bad injector. It just ran rough. Sounds like it might have more issues.

make sure thats really the problem. people use easy things to change to hide some other problem. unplug the injector wires and check the resistance on each injector to make sure. make sure its a clutch fluid leak not something else.

Yea the car will start, just misfire becuase it's not pushing that fuel. Inspect it thoroughly, just like someone just said, they are probably hiding something because it should start. Clutch leak is an easy fix, just have to find out where its from. The clutch master cylinder and slave are cheap parts to replace. Sounds good considering the price, but only if the injector is the only real problem...

What condition Is the rest of the car in? Do you plan to have this as a daily? It all depends man. I'd say yes going fromr what this guy said. You can be refurbed injectors fairly cheap and fix the problems. As long as that is the problem. And the milage isn't too bad. What year. Any mods?

hmmmWell, I'd go for it, seems like a good buyBUT, the injector problems seems kind of fishy. That's the only part I'd be hesitant about. The car should start if its just the injector. is the bay clean? No obvious signs of a blown motor or anything? Listen to the motor as it tries to turn over, is there any knocking? Hmm. I really don;t know. It could be a money pit to get it running, But then again it could be something as simple as the fuel pump. Get in the car, and turn the key to on (not cranking it), do you hear a humm coming from the rear passenger side, if not, the fuel pump migt be out.
