What are the risks/potent damages of running of normal gas if there is any?How would it run off of normal gas?Iv'e got a friend running a 87 Supra off of normal gas, i'm like aren't you supposed to be on premium only..

But anyways, yeah anyone tried it?

yea, i some time have to use the cheap sutff, cause Im a semi-poor collage srudent, and gas is about $2.25 a gallon. I usaly get mid grade. I think if you use 87 oct. it wont hurt it but it might get some pinging.

I think going back and forth can build up carbon as well.

You have a CPU that inspects the octane and adjusts the timing. So for best power, 91 octane, but no problems wit 87 ether...

It wont do a whole lot of damage unless you got like gobs of hp. Anyways, heres a trick I learned if you have a carbon buildup, pour a gallon of diesel fuel, yes diesel, and then fill her up with whatever else you want, it should take away most of the carbon build up. Note-its what I have heard and am yet to even attempt this process, some of my buds have done it and worked well. You can try, but dont blame it on me.=)

woah diesel . We just had a f-250 in our shop , where the wife bowwrowed the truck and accidentely filled it up with diesel . what a mess. the thing oculd barely idle , and it wouldn' go over 5mph , the whole thing was a huge pain in the ***.

Yeah, I have seen it when someone fills up there car with diesel, it is a mess. But I said, about 1 gallon, or less maybe, to clean it out. I also heard, that almost all octane additives have really small effect on our cars, you see the biggest difference on carbeuerated engines. Like, they say it will move up the octane up seven points, it probably will on a carbeuerated engine, but lets say, a 240sx, with 92 octane reading, it might move it up about 2-3 points. Somone fill me in on this....im trying to remeber where i got this info.
