what he said, it works i did it in my 89 coupe i took out the trunk interior though so the bell housing went right in the spare wheel well.

just grab an old blanket and lay it down make sure the trans is drained of all fluids and s***

just through it in with your trunk empty i had mine in there completely gutted, it fit fine just drive and brake slow so the trans doesnt fly through your back seats.

Dude you can fit one no prob. Especially with the seats down you'll be fine.

front to back, fold the back seats and put the bellhousing on top of the seat

Yeah it fits fine, just fold the seats down. And make sure you cover your carpet really well. If you don't, your car will smell horrible and the oil is very hard to get out of the carpet. Trust me. lol
