Will a 2001 QX4 navigation unit fit into a 2000?

Hey guys...will a 2001 QX4 navigational unit fit into a 2000 QX4 stock Bose radio slot, and will everything hook up right?

Its my understanding that the navigation unit includes the climate control, but not the radio.

So even if it fit, you'd have to get rid of your current climate control, replace with a radio, get the Nav antenna, and do a bunch of rewiring to make it work.

And after all that, you'd be left with 11 years old navigation software...

You might as well get a aftermarket Nav/radio. It may work out to be cheaper too.

If you really wish to attempt this, you'll need to compare wiring harness pinouts in the factory service manuals. But as Chris.m said, it's probably not worth it.
