About to snap some ASA JH8 (5x114.3) 18x9.5" 35 offset all around brand new for cheap but don't know if I'll have to roll-over my fenders,if they will fit on my slammed S14, don't know what tire size I should get,if I'll need spacers etc etc...

Please if anybody has knowladge on wheel fitment on a S14 get back at this thread. Thanks

P.S: Please recommend me a good tire as well.

235 45s? Or 225s if your looking for a bigger stretch. with +35 offset youll probably be sunken i dont see why they wouldn't fit

A 235 size tire is gonna be stretching it around the rim. Which is dangerous. You need to go with atleast a 245 minimum tire. which is just over 9.5" wide. You may almost want to look into either a 255 or 265 with a 35-45 series side wall

Should fit just fine in the back. The front is going to need a spacer. In no way will it be "sunken". That wheel will extend almost 2 inches further outboard than stock.

At least a 245 series tire for the rear i prefer 275 my self <for the front look up a mm calc on line put in 9.5 inches and convert it will give you an idea of what size tire to run.

Probably a 20mm spacer. So your fronts would effectively be 18x9.5+15 and will have a reverse stagger, having a broader stance than your rears. That's weird, IMO. May as well get spacers for the rear too. And if you need to spend even more money on a total of four spacers (either bolt-on or slip-on) and possibly extended studs too, is the deal really worth it?

You might wanna check the price of spacers and Nismo or ARP studs before you buy those wheels. Price might still come out to match what you would have paid to just bought wheels that fit right in the first place.

I would Get something with a better offset. Yes they may be 9.5 but the offset is close to stock, +42. It is going to be sucken. And you Will have an issue with the wheel hitting the coil.

Get something else.

How much would cost me 4 spacers and longer studs? I kinda dont want to go through all that...cuz I'll still need to get tires as well and probably Ima spent an amount of good $$$ and I could have bought some LM-GT's or something with that money

^^^ Dude, forget what Paulie is talking about. It's a good idea, but doesn't take certain things into consideration. A tire calculator will tell you that you can fit a 275 tire in a 9.5 inch wheel. The question is should you? Would that tire clear your stock fenders and suspenion? The answer is NO, at least not without alot of extra work.

Here's some reference material for you: http://www.rimtuck.com/thumbna...l=S14&

This should give you a good idea of what kind of offset you need to fit 18x9.5's and what size tires to run for your preferences.

Well, you're not gonna get LMGT4's with that kinda of money. If you buy those wheels for $500, I'd say that you'll probably spend rough about another $200 on spacers and extended studs to make those wheels fit right. So why not just buy some ~$700 wheels that already fit right w/o spacers?

No problem! Just keep in mind that $700 ain't exactly alot for brand new 18x9.5's. $700 pretty much restricts you to some XXR wheels or you could save about $150 more for some Rota's. These are about as cheap as you're gonna find and still have 'ok' fitment.

We do have XXR and Rota vendors here on NICO offering discounts, so that might help you save some money!

I really dont want to do that since my car has about a yr old paint on it. What would be a good offset so it would look flush on my S14 for a set of 18x9.5 all around, or 18x8.5 on front and 9.5 on back without rolling & pulling fenders?

Also try searching for used wheels. There are a variety of sites selling used wheels in great sizes for a 240. The only one I can remember off the top of my head is rbwheels.com.

1) Please learn how to quote properly... sheesh...2) Why are ppl so scared to roll fenders lately?! It's like... nothing!
